Our Vision/Aims and Objectives

These are exciting times for HSBT and as we continue to grow while the offering we provide to the wider world grows too. We place all humans (Muslims and Non Muslims) at the forefront of everything we do and stand for. We understand that the success of the community is the success of HSBT. In the very new future we aim to:

  • Establish innovative centres of classical and modern Islamic learning.
  • Promote traditional and contemporary Islamic intellectual thought.
  • Institute the study of Islamic scripture and make accessible its historical legacy.
  • Promote Sufism with a special focus on the teachings of Hazrat Sultan Bahu (d. 1691 C.E.).
  • Set up training centres for Imams and specialist teachers.
  • Inspire moral and spiritual development universally.
  • Enthuse the new generation of Imams, teachers and volunteers to serve the Ummah compassionately and innovatively.
  • Instil a sense of self-worth, pride and dignity among Muslims.
  • Present an accurate, truly balanced and positive image of Islam to non-Muslims.
  • Provide educational opportunities for all including the underprivileged and the disadvantaged.
