HSBT is a dedicated institute of learning and education, which continues to provide a comprehensive, and intensive Islamic studies program geared towards students who want to start a serious study of the Islamic sciences.
The internationally acclaimed ‘Dars-e-Nizami ‘ or ‘Alim’ course is taught in institutions of higher Islamic learning worldwide and was founded by Mullah Nizam al-Din Muhammad Sihalwi (1677-1748). The primary aim was to facilitate the study of religious sciences from an elementary level to the highest levels of intellectual spheres, shaping the minds of some of the greatest people of recent Islamic history.
At the HSBT our Alim course remains a multi-dimensional development process that facilitates the study of classical doctrine in Islamic theology, Quran, Hadith and their principles. The course also includes Islamic Jurisprudence and its principles. Students of this discipline are further able to pursue in the liberal arts allowing them with a balanced qualification that will enable them to have an understanding of meeting the needs of their community.
The course develops a student in areas of the knowledge, skill and spiritual development, necessary to understand and apprehend the principles of Islam, to practice and embody it and to lead the community by excellent example displaying the Prophetic state. This course is studied by people who go on to become inspirational Islamic Scholars or Imams.
Students begin the program with an in depth study of the Arabic language with
immediate immersion by using Arabic texts to study other Islamic sciences, this include:

Islamic Theology (‘Aqidah)
Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (Usul al-Fiqh)

Hadith (Prophetic Traditions)
Tafsir al-Quran (Exegesis)
Sirah (Prophetic Biography)
Alhamdu Lillah (thanking God) Hazrat Sultan Bahu Trust has offered the Dars-e-Nizami (Alim) course for over twenty years, producing some of the most proficient scholars, orators and Imams in the UK. The course is offered in a traditional environment with students benefiting from the company of a certified Scholar for six hours day and receiving direct instructions.
