Our Imam Training programme has been designed for the purpose of supporting and empowering young people to become religious and community leaders empowered to positively engage with and impact on society around them.
Our courses are delivered by traditionally scholars who have either graduated from Al -Azhar University (Egypt) and /or attained the required certification (ijaazas) to deliver their subject. In addition to this, our scholars provide the skills and training necessary to show them how to effectively apply traditional Islamic learning to the needs of the Muslim community.
Students attain a sound understanding of the theoretical and practical implementation of the Islamic sciences so as to support their communities.
The course includes an in-depth study of Aqidah – Matters of Belief and Fiqh – Jurisprudence in both worship and personal relations. Students will also develop a proficient understanding of the Arabic language, and gain an excellent command of Qur’anic Recitation.
Our students become more confident and better equipped, enabling them to offer personal and spiritual welfare of those within their congregations.
There may be occasions where there will be some fieldwork study and visits to NGOs, charities and other organisations to compliment the learning experience.
