Police Support Surgery
MONDAY: 10:00am – 1:00pm
To address any local issues and support community safety, we run a drop-in police support surgery every Monday between 10:00am – 1:00pm.
This is a non-judgemental safe space where you can voice your concerns within the local area. We offer free advice and support to individuals, families, and community members on a range of issues.
In collaboration with the local Neighbourhood Policing team, we are here to listen to your concerns and support you to solve them. If you are experiencing safety issues, anti-social behaviour, neighbourly dispute, bullying, physical or emotional abuse, hate crime, domestic violence, or any other issue, we are here to help.

Warm Places of Welcome
TUESDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS:
Tuesdays 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Every Tuesday afternoon, we host a wellbeing café at the Bahu Trust for elderly members of our community. This ‘chaa shaa’ session invites local elders to sip and chat over delicious biscuits and homemade karak chai.
This is an open, inclusive, and welcoming space where the elderly convene over a cuppa to relax, release their joys, woes, and feelings with the group, and revive their sense of community, belonging and connection. This supports the mental health and emotional wellbeing of the elderly by providing a warm, safe space within which they feel comfortable sharing openly and forging lasting friendships which both prevents social isolation and promotes social inclusion.
During these sessions, community members have the chance to discuss freely, and our community development team are available to provide assistance, signpost, and direct the elderly to any relevant services to cater to various needs, should they require socio-economic, financial, physical, mental, or emotional health-related support.
Our doors are welcome to you every Tuesday after Zuhr, from 2pm – 4pm. If you know an elderly person who may enjoy a warm cup of chai, and conversation, please let them know!
Bahu Trust welcomes all elders to our weekly Chaa Shaa which takes place every Tuesday after Zuhr, from 2pm – 4pm. This is an open, inclusive, and welcoming space where the elderly convene to relax, release their joys, woes, and feelings in a warm and trusting environment.

Occupational Therapy
THURSDAYS: 10:00am – 3:00pm
We run a drop-in occupational therapy clinic every Thursday between 10:00am and 3:00pm.
Occupational therapy works to supports individuals who are impacted by a range of issues which may disrupt everyday functioning and participating in daily activities. This could be due to a range of physical, mental health, environmental or social circumstances.
An occupational therapist works with individuals to identify difficulties and disruptions to your daily life, and how to address these with practical solutions to build confidence, support mental wellbeing, and allow individuals to regain agency and control over their lives. Some of these interventions include home adjustments to support routine activities.
Many individuals struggle with activities including basic tasks such as:
- Getting in and out of bed or chair
- Getting on and off the toilet
- Dressing yourself
- Feeding yourself or cooking meals
- Getting up and down stairs
If this relates to your experience, you may benefit from support from one of our occupational therapists.
Visit one of our drop-in face-to-face clinics. No referral or booking required.
